“Coming out is so square. I knew I was gay the moment I saw Elvis Presley.” - John Waters

"I don’t understand why gay people want to be like everybody else. To me we were outlaws. We used our wit for fighting words, you know. ‘Act up! Act bad!’ I want it!"

Hero hero hero hero.

And it’s just as fantastic as it sounds:

Watch the video:

The look of shock on her face is incredible. Elijah is brave little man, and I commend him.

dude i’d be so scared if she put her face that close to mine

seriously all the sudden lady grabs my kid

also what a quality little human being

Could only be better if the demon lords swept down to take her back to their homeworld.

STAND WITH BRENDA | Brenda Namigadde, a Ugandan lesbian in the UK, faces deportation TOMORROW back to the life-threatening persecution she fled eight years ago.

Will you join more than 10,000 people in 85 countries and sign this urgent letter pressuring U.K. Home Secretary Theresa May to stop Brenda’s deportation?

It takes a minute, folks. Please sign and reblog.

Read this and voice your objection to her deportation.

Hasn’t John Waters said that all the best looking people go to riots and protests?  So it’s no wonder that:

A.  He’d attend the Protest the Pope rally in London on Saturday the 18th along with thousands of other people.

B.  He’d appear alongside one of the best signs.

Jesus!  All the best gays were at that rally!

Christine O’Donnell’s Gay Former Aide Speaks Out - The Daily Beast

Richards finally came out in an article in The Advocate in 2000. After that, he says, O’Donnell “totally turned her back on me. I never heard from her ever again. That’s been my experience with the Christian community in general. The minute I was struggling and saying, ‘Hey, listen, I don’t know really where I am with this,’ that’s when everyone really turned their back on me.”

Interesting, unsurprising article.

This is a picture of Sir Ian McKellen at a gay-rights march in UK that has been timed with the Pope’s visit.

Sometimes the world can be a really extraordinary place.

"Or people who talk about it like it’s a social issue. Like when you see someone stand up on a talk show and says, “how do I explain to my child that two men are getting married?” I don’t know, it’s your shitty kid, you fucking tell ‘em! Why is that anyone else’s problem? Two guys are in love but they can’t get married because you don’t want to talk to your ugly child for fucking five minutes?!"
