The Count? He’s multilingual.
Hearing the count and that organ in Hebrew gives me too many scary Jewish elementary school flashbacks.

Jimmy Fallon, Kermit the Frog & Robin the Frog - When the River Meets the Sea (Dec 23rd, 2011)
There was a lot of good Christmas programming this year, but this was the best of the best. I’m so relieved that the Muppets are back, spreading their gentle philosophy across the world. Peace on Earth, goodwill towards frogs!
Puppeteers performing Walter.
I would just like to say, that this is why I’m going to be disappointed in the new Muppets movie. Blue Screen and CGI would never fly with Jim Henson.
(I had a dream last night that I broke into Jim Hensons house. Then he sang for deaf people).
Though I would never presume to say what would or would not fly with an artist I never knew personally, I believe you should rethink your opinion.
The mechanics of this particular Walter muppet are similar to a classical Bunraku puppet. Henson was interested in puppetry of all kinds and drew inspiration for his Muppets’ mechanics from a variety of sources, including Bunraku. Henson also made extensive use of black-clad puppeteers against dark black backdrops. Henson also was among the first to utilize CGI in puppetry, notably in the character Waldo C. Graphic from the Jim Henson Hour.
And if you don’t believe me, watch Disco Frog. It’s a classic Muppet Show piece that uses a Kermit Muppet built similarly to the above Walter Muppet in addition to film compositing.
YEAH! Mike Short tells it like it T-I-Is SUCKAS!

Character notes for Skeeter, which the lovely Roger Langridge then took and wrote into Muppet Show ‘Family Reunion’… and then gave it back to me to draw!
(Yes, for those just joining us, I drew a LOT of the recent Muppet comics)
Well really, as long as copyright headaches prevent a re-release of Muppet babies, can we at least let a girl grow up and rejoin her friends?
Let’s get Skeeter in the next Muppet Movie!!!

THIS WAS VERY FUN TO DRAW.
The Muppets are back on the big screen!
But what have they been doing for the last 12 years? Steve Murray takes a look at some of their failed casting attempts. Also! Chris Knight gives their new outing FOUR STARS! Also!Gonzo wins our Tournament of Muppets! Man, it’s a good day to be a Muppet.

Walter for best supporting actor this year. Or… a cameo on Sesame Street. Either one. Can you catch the Great Muppet Caper callback in this clip?
Jason Segel: the most important audibly crying comedic voice of my generation!
